1. Your Contract.
Our contract with you will take effect only when your booking, which is subject to these terms and conditions, is confirmed.
When you book your accommodation with merciecafarmhouses.com you are bonded to our
terms and conditions and are responsible for the payment of the whole
accommodation bill. We will send all the information and documents for the
accommodation to you for all the members of your party. It is important to
check carefully, as soon as you receive your confirmation, that it is exactly
what you booked.
2. Bookings
Bookings are confirmed only when the payment for a 15% deposit requested has been received by us.
During the period between the confirmation (by email) of your reservation and the transfer of the deposit, the booking is temporary
and may be subject to cancellation.
3. Pricing
Prices vary according to season and to the number of persons. We reserve the right to change prices at any time before you book.
4. Our Price Guarantee.
We do change prices from time to time. Prices can go down as well as up and you will be able to
determine your up to date price for your chosen accommodation prior to
confirming your booking. We guarantee that once you have made your booking and
we will not increase the price of your accommodation - this
includes any changes to VAT or Government Taxes.
5. If we change your accommodation.
Every effort is made to maintain arrangements as advertised, however as they are planned many months in advance changes may occur for reasons beyond our control. We reserve the right to substitute alternative accommodation of the same or superior standard in the same resort should this become unavoidable. Occasionally it may be possible to offer alternatives of lower standard or in different resort. In these circumstances compensation may be offered. Where Alpha Beds are unable to confirm a suitable alternative, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and an e-mail notification will be sent to inform you of the details. (You have no right to cancel your booking after you have left to take up your accommodation).
6. Number of nights.
The 'no. of nights' stated in our price refers to the number of nights the
accommodation has been reserved for you. Some flights are night flights. When
you arrive in resort your accommodation will be available, as it has been
reserved the whole night. This therefore counts as one of your holiday
accommodation nights.
7. Indemnity.
When you book accommodation with us you accept responsibility for any damage to
property or accommodation caused by you or by any member of your party. You
agree to indemnify us against any claims (including legal costs) made against
us or on behalf of the owner of any such property or accommodation.
8. Misbehaviour
We reserve the right to terminate without notice the accommodation arrangements
of any customer whose behaviour, in our opinion, is likely to cause annoyance,
distress or danger to other customers or any third party. If you are prevented
from travelling because you appear, to any person in authority, to be unfit to
travel or likely to cause discomfort or disturbance to other passengers our
responsibility for your accommodation will cease. Full cancellation charges
will apply and we will be under no obligation to provide any further
assistance.
9. Disputes.
In the event of any dispute our liability shall not exceed the charge for the
accommodation provided. Any litigation will be subject to English Law.
10. Travel documents
It is your responsibility to have valid travel documents. If we or your carrier
are fined as a result of you holding incorrect documents, we will ask you to
pay this amount.
11. Special Request
We will try to meet any special requests you tell us about before you leave but
we cannot guarantee anything. If we cannot meet your special request, we will
not pay any compensation. We will not always be able to tell you before you
leave if we cannot meet your special requests. We cannot accept special
requests in relation to late availability or other special offers of
accommodation.
